Islamic Hats and Caps

Choose the perfect Islamic cap for comfort and full coverage. Varied styles blending tradition and modernity: breathable cotton, soft modal or bamboo.

How do you choose the right size of Islamic cap?

The first step in choosing the right size of Islamic cap is to measure around your head, just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead. This measurement in centimetres will give you the exact size you need. Each cap has a size shown in centimetres or in letters (S, M, L), so always compare your measurement with the one given in our size guide.

A cap that is too small will squeeze your head and be uncomfortable, which can be a distraction during prayer. A cap that is too big risks slipping or not staying put properly, which can get in the way of your concentration. Our Islamic caps are often made with stretchy fabrics that adapt slightly to your head, but you should still aim for the right size for a perfect fit.

If you are torn between two sizes, we advise you to go for the larger size for more comfort, especially if you plan to wear your cap for a long time. Some styles come with adjustable elastics or reinforced seams to adapt better to each head shape. Choosing a well-fitting cap also lets you cover your hair properly without having to adjust it often, which lowers the risk of wearing it out faster.

Take your measurement with a flexible tape measure, because a rigid tape measure will not give the right result. We are available to help you find the exact size if you are unsure. Our aim is for your cap to be pleasant to wear all day, so that you stay focused and serene.

The different styles and designs of Islamic caps available

We offer several styles of Islamic caps to suit all tastes and needs. The traditional cap is simple, often in cotton or wool, for comfortable wear every day. It covers the whole head and fits well, ideal for prayer or everyday life, while respecting the religious codes of wearing a Muslim hat.

Some styles have an embroidered border, which brings a discreet and elegant decorative touch. The band or kufi is a shorter cap, which can be very colourful, with geometric or floral motifs. It is perfect for those who want a more modern style without losing the religious side, offering a contemporary alternative to the peci and other traditional headwear.

We also have caps in soft fabric that is stretchy and perfectly suited to children or to people who prefer lightness. For special occasions, we offer caps with fine embroidery and careful details, sometimes in more elegant fabrics such as satin or blended wool. These caps give a polished look while respecting traditions.

Finally, a few styles have practical features, such as ventilated areas or moisture-wicking materials, for maximum comfort all day long. We have thought of everything so that you find the Islamic cap that suits you perfectly, between style, comfort and respect for custom.

How do you care for and wash an Islamic cap to extend its life?

Washing by hand in cold or lukewarm water preserves the shape of your Islamic cap and protects its colour. Use a small amount of mild detergent to avoid damaging the fabric or irritating the skin. Soak the cap only for a few minutes, then rub any stains very gently with your fingers.

Rinse thoroughly in clear water to remove all the detergent, as leftover soap can make the fabric rough or cause itching. Squeeze out gently without wringing hard the cap, so it will not lose its shape or its elasticity. Dry it flat, on a towel, away from direct sunlight or a radiator to stop the fabric from hardening or shrinking.

If you insist on washing your Islamic cap in the machine, we advise you to place it in a laundry bag made for delicates and to choose a cold cycle or a delicate one. Never use bleach or strong chemicals: they attack the fibres and distort the cap. Also avoid the tumble dryer, as heat damages the fibres and makes the cap lose its natural softness.

Every gentle wash keeps the colour and the original softness of the fabric, while preventing bobbling and fading. Looking after your religious headwear ensures optimal durability and significantly extends the lifespan of your investment.
