Description
Al Haramain Tanasuk is a perfume oil in the pure tradition of the perfumers of Arabia: concentrated, with no spray, applied in touches. The house of Al Haramain made it one of its most delicate scents.
This 12 ml bottle opens on rose, grenadine and saffron, then reveals a heart of jasmine, dry wood and amber, before a base of vanilla, musk and brown sugar. The whole is soft, powdery and amber.
Al Haramain Tanasuk is applied with its stick, on the neck and wrists. It is for anyone who likes perfumes that stay close to the skin, elegant and warm, rather than fans of a powerful trail.

Our verdict on the Al Haramain Tanasuk perfume oil
Review written by the Air d’Orient team · Updated on 19 September 2026
We have read buyers’ feedback on the Al Haramain Tanasuk perfume oil to pick out what comes up most often, good and not so good.
The strong points
- A delicate scent, powdery and amber, often described as very classy.
- Good staying power: several still smell it a long time after applying it.
- A refined bottle, with its stick applicator to dose drop by drop.
- A concentrated oil: a few touches are enough, the bottle lasts.
Good to know
- It is an oil, not a spray: it is applied in touches and stays close to the skin. Anyone expecting a spray will be surprised.
- A very personal perception: some find it too discreet, others heady. Start with a single touch.
Where we lean: for a soft, refined perfume oil to wear close to the skin, this is a lovely choice. For a spray version from the same house, see L’Aventure below, and find all our musks in our range of Tahara musk.

Tanasuk, Oyuny, Farasha or L’Aventure?
Al Haramain offers its perfumes as oils and as sprays. Here is how the Tanasuk compares with the three other most popular references from the house.
| Fragrance | Size | Style | Ideal for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tanasuk Al Haramain · perfume oil |
12 ml | Powdery amber floral | A delicate scent |
| Oyuny Al Haramain · perfume oil |
20 ml | Oriental | A larger bottle |
| Farasha Al Haramain · perfume oil |
12 ml | Floral | A feminine fragrance |
| L’Aventure Al Haramain · eau de parfum |
100 ml | Fresh woody | A spray |
The Al Haramain Oyuny is another perfume oil from the house, in a 20 ml bottle. It lasts longer in use. For powdery softness, the Tanasuk remains more delicate.
The Al Haramain Farasha is a floral oil, in the same 12 ml size. It will please anyone who prefers flowers to amber notes. The Tanasuk is warmer.
The Al Haramain L’Aventure is an eau de parfum in a 100 ml spray, with a more present trail. It suits anyone who wants to be noticed. The Tanasuk is worn closer to the skin.
Your questions about the Tanasuk oil
How do you apply a perfume oil?
Place one or two touches with the stick on the neck, behind the ears and on the inside of the wrists. Do not rub. The oil warms on contact with the skin and reveals itself within a few minutes.
Does a perfume oil last better than a spray?
With no alcohol, the oil evaporates slowly and often lasts longer on the skin. On the other hand, it projects less far: it is mostly smelled up close.
Does the Tanasuk oil stain clothes?
Like any oil, it can mark light fabric. Put it on the skin and let it sink in before getting dressed.
