It all began in 2019, when Cyril, our founder, booked a plane ticket to Japan, after years of juggling the daily challenges of his autoimmune disease.
In search of balance and reconnection, he let himself be enchanted by a rich and fascinating culture, discovering a way of life centred on simplicity, harmony and what really matters.
It was during this immersion that he found the inspiration to open Air du Japon, a shop dedicated to Japanese products, which quickly became a real success thanks to the enthusiasm and loyalty of its community.
Faced with growing demand to explore other horizons just as inspiring, our founder decided to continue the journey by launching Air d’Orient, a shop dedicated to the treasures of the Oriental world.
Just as with Air du Japon, there’s no need to travel all the way to the souks of Marrakech or the bazaars of Istanbul: we bring the essence of the Orient, its authenticity and its refinement, straight to your door!
