With the Playmobil Asterix 71148, the Pharaoh’s Pyramid, the Gauls arrive in Egypt. Screwdriver leads them into the pyramid on the pretext of a visit… but a treasure room and plenty of traps await them.
The set includes 93 pieces: Asterix, Obelix, Getafix, Numerobis and Screwdriver, six animals including Dogmatix, and 82 accessories. A trapdoor, dungeon and revolving door make up a real maze, on a pyramid measuring 46 x 37.5 x 27 cm.
This Playmobil Asterix and Obelix set is for children aged 5 and over. Sturdy and sticker-free, it can be cleaned under water and also appeals to fans of the comic books.

We read buyers’ feedback on the Playmobil Asterix The Pharaoh’s Pyramid to pick out what comes up most often, good and not so good.
Where we lean: for a child who is a fan of Asterix or Egypt, this is a big, complete set full of adventure. For a smaller first set, see the Boar Hunt below, and all our toys in our oriental toys.
The Playmobil Asterix range has plenty of sets. Here is how the Pharaoh’s Pyramid compares with three other highly sought-after ones.
| Set | Reference | Characters | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Pharaoh’s Pyramid Playmobil |
71148 | 5 and 6 animals | A big set |
| Asterix’s House Playmobil |
71828 | Asterix and the village | The Gaulish village |
| The Boar Hunt Playmobil |
71160 | Asterix, Obelix, Dogmatix | A first set |
| The Roman Legionaries Playmobil |
70934 | 4 Romans | Expanding the battles |
The Playmobil Asterix’s House recreates the hero’s hut in the Gaulish village. It is smaller. The Pyramid offers an adventure in Egypt.
The Playmobil Asterix: The Boar Hunt brings together Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix in a small set. It is a good first purchase. The Pyramid is much bigger.
The Playmobil Asterix: The Roman Legionaries add four soldiers to the adventures. They complete an existing set. The Pyramid is self-sufficient.
Playmobil recommends it from age 5. The small parts make it unsuitable for children under 3.
93 pieces: Asterix, Obelix, Getafix, Numerobis, Screwdriver, six animals including Dogmatix, and 82 accessories, with assembly instructions.
The pieces, which have no stickers, can be rinsed under running water, without chemical products. Leave to dry before putting away.
