Description
Al Rabih is a Lebanese brand known for its oriental grocery products. Its tahini, a sesame cream, is the base ingredient of hummus, moutabal and tarator sauce.
It comes in an 800 g jar, a family size for everyday cooking. Like any tahini, it should be stirred before use, as the sesame oil rises to the surface when left to stand.
Lebanese tahini is mixed with lemon and garlic for sauces, blended with chickpeas for hummus, or added to pastries. An essential for cooking Lebanese food at home.

Your questions about this Al Rabih tahini
How do you make a tahini sauce?
Mix three spoonfuls of tahini with the juice of a lemon and a crushed clove of garlic, then loosen with cold water until you have a smooth sauce. Add salt. It goes with falafels, shawarma and grilled vegetables.
Why stir tahini before use?
Without an emulsifier, the sesame oil separates from the paste when left to stand. A good stir restores an even cream.

Close the jar tightly and keep it somewhere dry, away from heat. It keeps for several months.
